Albie’s Den is a volunteer-run community op shop in the heart of Maungaturoto. Every donated item, every bargain found and every hour volunteered helps fund health and wellbeing projects for people in the old Otamatea County area and across Northland.
When you shop, donate or volunteer at Albie’s Den, you’re directly supporting your neighbours, whānau and friends.

Renamed in honour of local legend and founder Albie Paton, Albie’s Den continues the legacy of The Den Maungaturoto – one of Northland’s best-loved second-hand stores – by turning second-hand goods into first-class community support.

Over the past decade, The Den / Albie’s Den has contributed well over $600,000 to health and wellbeing causes in the Maungaturoto and wider Northland community.
